Behind Again

Okay, so my promise to make an entry every day has gone out the window once again but at least it hasn't been 5 months! And, I do have a good excuse...we are on vacation afterall. The kids and I left Dallas for Virginia on Monday the 20th to spend the week with my parents. Bill will be here tomorrow night and then on Sunday the 4 of us will drive to the Outer Banks to rent a beach house for the week. My parents will join us at the end of next week for a couple of nights.

So far our trip has been busy and both kids have been on great behavior. Let's hope it stays that way. They did fabulous on the flight here except for the incident when the flight attendant told Sam he couldn't play his travel hungry hippo game. Seriously, if she thought the game was noisy she completely underestimated how quickly a 4 year old can go from being quiet and content to screaming bloody murder. Served her right. It made me feel wonderful when a man came up to me after the flight and told me that he thought my kids great on the flight. Me too!
