Big Girl Bed

Yesterday Claire's big girl furniture arrived. She now has a queen size bed, large dresser and night stand in her room. The crib is still in there and we fully anticipated that she would still sleep in it for awhile, however, she surprised us by wanting to sleep in her bed last night. One side of the bed is up against the wall and the other has railings on it so there is no escaping. She fell asleep last night with no problems and only woke once last night when she couldn't find her Tinkerbell wall clock that she had gone to bed with. I found it for her, gave her some chocolate milk (yet another bad habit that we are getting into!)and gave her some more books. After I left her she cried for a couple of minutes but then fell back to sleep until 8:00. I imagine the crib will be coming out of her room today, which makes me a little nervous but hopefully she will stick to the big bed and never look back.
