May 19th

May 19th was Sam's first dentist appointment. It is a pediatric dentist and he did so great. The staff was wonderful and Sam actually let them brush, floss and scrap his teeth. After that was all done he had x-rays too. The dentist said his teeth look great and he won't need to come back for 6 months. It was a great experience and I'm glad that it was so positive for him. Now I won't have to struggle to get him to go to the dentist.


After Sam's dentist appointment we rushed home to get ready for playgroup at Celebration Park which has a splash pad. It was our first time there this year since the sprinklers had been turned on. Sam didn't like the water very much but Claire had lots of fun walking through the sprinklers. She was soaked! Sam was more excited about playing on the playground equipment with friend Sawyer. We ate a picnic lunch first and then played. It was in the mid 80's so pretty warm. The kids were wiped out by the time we got home. Since then we have been back to this park once and again Sam had no interest in the water. The second time we were there Claire didn't really want to be in the water either. Probably b/c it was crowded and she was knocked over the first time we were there. We also went to a different splash park last week (June 4th) and Sam did get wet there and thought it was fun.
