Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, March 15th, was our neighborhood's Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny was there too and Sam liked seeing him but didn't want to get too close. The rest of the day he talked about how he had seen the Easter Bunny. Claire didn't mind getting close to the Easter Bunny and even seemed to like touching his soft fur.

Both kids had a lot of fun during the Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Egg Hunt was divided up by ages and the two and under area had tons of eggs and I think Sam made out with most of them. He filled his bucket up quickly but kept going back for more eggs. Grandpa told him that he needed to start putting them in his pockets b/c we didn't have anymore room for them but that didn't stop him.

Claire loved walking while I held her hands and would stop to pick up eggs when she saw them. Eventually she just sat in the grass and played with the eggs.

When we got home Sam enjoyed eating some of the candy and Claire had fun shaking the eggs. Maybe next year she can enjoy some of the yummy treats too.
