Jo's New Do

For those of you who know or have seen our dog Jo you know that she is a very hairy pooch. Ever since she was little Bill has tried to give her haircuts but it's always been a challenge b/c she has so much hair. He has done his best but unless he cuts her almost every week it's too hard to make much improvement. Poor Jo is always so hot and her hair gets so matted. We would take her to be professionally groomed but due to her temperment that's really not an option. So we finally broke down and bought professional clippers to give her a proper haircut. Wow what a difference that made! Within minutes you could actually see her skin which we have never seen. She now has very short hair and we both think she feels so much better. She looks like a completely different dog. And I am really loving not dealing with all of her hair. Our carpet used to always be covered in black hair and now there is nothing. It's so wonderful. We vow never to let her become that big hairy beast that she once was.
