November 9th

A couple of days ago Claire started to stand, with assistance, and hold on to our coffee table. She has also taken a couple of steps holding onto our hands but is not very consistent. She seems to really love standing and babbles constantly when she's standing. She isn't crawling yet but sits very well and grabs at everything. She does pretty well on her tummy and can move in a circle but doesn't move forward or back and hasn't tried to get into a crawling position. She may end up walking before crawling since she seems more interested in standing than in moving around on her belly.

Tonight for the first time Claire took a bath without the baby bathtub. She can sit so well that I decided to just have her sit in the tub itself and play with toys. It was much easier to wash her and she had fun playing. It's hard to believe that she will be 7 months tomorrow but I am really enjoying every milestone that she hits. Each one seems to make my life easier!
